Mac OS X Leopard For Windows

Launches the Microsoft Software Manager and automatically searches for Microsoft Office 2003 software and Internet Explorer 6. Once the software is installed, it installs the add-ons, creating shortcuts to the add-ons.

YES! Mine are installed as well. However, I still cannot get this thing to work correctly. I have followed the directions to the letter, using the “Launch Shortcut” option in the Control Panel. However, the downloaded file only launches the M$ Software Manager once, as it should. No shortcuts are created, and even if they were, I would have no way to remove them. I can’t figure out how to change the menu option to “Use Settings”. It’s not under the Control Panel. I also couldn’t get the Microsoft font changes to work, and I haven’t figured out a way to change that. Finally, even after installing every possible fix, this program still does not change the “Windows” and “Apple” icons on the desktop to Mac’s equivalents. It’s as if I haven’t used this app at all.

I downloaded this program and it worked fine for a while and then it wouldn’t install anymore even though I have used this same CD before. Now the install application opens but it’s always just empty like this.

Is there any other file I need to install besides the installer? I did read the site, but I didn’t see anything about having to install an update to install properly. The only time I had to install an update was after my first run through.

Hi, I have a problem regarding this software. I tryed it and it worked fine for me and the first time I had Windows XP SP2. But, now I use Windows 7 (with SP1) and the application don’t work well.
When I double-click it the install starts and it asks to the name and type of I windows (XP, Vista or 7). I choose Windows 7 and the installer starts. After it finishes I can see the “Upgrading” section but it says “the process couldn’t be completed. See the log file” and shows the following log file:
“Info: (Downloads/name/of/the/installer) could not get a handle on file là.dll (VER_SUITE_12_AVAILABLE). Error Code: 0x0007fff0 ”

So, I tried to do a reinstallation of the application but it doesn’t work anymore. I tried

Snow Leopard Compatibility for Office 2003 Installation.

In this video we demonstrate how to install Snow Leopard (OS X 10.6) as a guest under Microsoft Windows 7 (x64) and run the Office 2003 applications you already have installed as if they were natively installed on the OS X host platform. In this way, if you want to uninstall the Office applications, you can easily remove them from the Windows host OS as well. If you’re not familiar with the latest Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit) version, it will require a little bit of learning. You’ll see in this video why this guest install process is the preferred way to install Snow Leopard as a guest.
